Adult Dyspraxia (DCD) Self-Test
Dyspraxia — developmental coordination disorder (DCD) — affects movement, coordination, organisation and planning, and often sits alongside ADHD and autism. This free, private self-report helps you see whether adult dyspraxia traits fit your experience. About two minutes, all on your device.
For each statement, choose how often it’s true for you.
1I’m clumsy — I bump into things, trip, or knock drinks over more than most people.
About this screen
A structured self-report based on how adult dyspraxia (developmental coordination disorder) is described in the literature. A reflective screen, not a diagnostic instrument.
Frequently asked questions
What is dyspraxia?
Dyspraxia, or developmental coordination disorder (DCD), affects physical coordination, balance, fine-motor skills, organisation and planning. It’s a lifelong neurodevelopmental difference, not related to intelligence, and frequently co-occurs with ADHD and autism.
Can this test diagnose dyspraxia?
No. It’s a screening tool. A formal diagnosis usually involves an occupational therapist, physiotherapist or other specialist, often via a GP referral. A high score is a reason to seek that, not a diagnosis itself.
Does dyspraxia go with ADHD or autism?
Often, yes — these neurodivergent conditions frequently overlap. If dyspraxia traits resonate, it can be worth screening for ADHD and autism too.
