Frequently asked questions
How much should a coach charge per session?
There is no single right rate. Check what similar coaches in your area and niche charge, then use this planner to see whether that rate covers your costs and time. New coaches often need to find the balance between being affordable and running a sustainable practice.
Why does the planner include admin time?
Marketing, notes, bookkeeping and preparation take time that clients do not pay for directly. Including those hours gives you a more honest hourly figure than the session fee alone.
Does this include tax?
No. All figures are before tax and National Insurance. HMRC guidance or an accountant can help you plan for what you will owe.
